Moving to Opelika Alabama? Here’s what I wish more buyers knew before they begin looking at homes: Opelika isn’t simply “cheaper Auburn.” It’s its own community with its own history, downtown, neighborhoods, businesses, pace, personality, and housing options. And if you’re relocating to the Auburn–Opelika area, automatically limiting your search to Auburn—or assuming Opelika is […]
Move to Auburn and sooner or later you’ll discover that everyday neighborhood life comes with sights, sounds—and occasionally smells—you probably never considered while scrolling through homes online. 😂 So here’s today’s extremely important Auburn neighborhood debate: Which is worse: the smell of fresh mulch… or the sound of pressure washing at 9 a.m.? A shaker. 😂 Those orange and blue shakers waving throughout Jordan-Hare Stadium are such a familiar part of Auburn football that longtime Auburn people […]
Moving to Auburn means learning something practical about football Saturdays that you may not think about while you’re searching for a home: postgame traffic. When tens of thousands of people leave Jordan-Hare Stadium and the surrounding campus area after an Auburn football game, you’re not necessarily going to hop in the car and immediately cruise […]
Auburn homes for sale come in many different floor plans, but here’s a question buyers sometimes don’t think enough about until they start touring houses: Would you rather live in a one-story or two-story home? There isn’t one right answer. A one-story home may make everyday living easier and can be worth considering if you’re […]
Moving to Auburn and working from home? You may need to think about much more than whether a house has an extra bedroom you can turn into an office. When your home is also your workplace, things like internet availability, natural light, privacy, noise, floor plan, and the location of your workspace can become important […]
