The City of Auburn officially celebrated the grand opening of Ann Pearson Park on August 25, 2025, giving the community a beautiful new 46.9-acre public park at 1420 Shelton Mill Road. This park is a gift to Auburn, made possible by the generosity of Dr. Ann Pearson, and supported by the philanthropic spirit of Walt and Ginger Woltosz, who have long contributed to Auburn University and the community at large.
Ann Pearson Park offers families, students, and visitors a natural escape within the city — a place where Auburn’s beauty and sense of community come together. The park is open daily from sunrise to sunset, free for everyone to enjoy.
