Pines Crossing Golf Course is the newly redesigned municipal 18-hole public course serving both Auburn and Opelika. Formerly known as Indian Pines, the course underwent a complete $5.7 million overhaul and officially reopened in November 2023 with a fresh name and layout.

History & Community
Originally established in 1946, the course operated as Indian Pines after being acquired by Auburn and Opelika in 1976. The name changed to Pines Crossing to reflect its refreshed identity and its physical location on the Auburn–Opelika line by the railroad tracks
Following a clubhouse fire and rebuild in 2006, the recent full-scale redesign cemented Pines Crossing as a community asset—an 18-hole public course and a hub for amateur tournaments like the Bill Hall Invitational
