About the Foundation
Since 1952, East Alabama Medical Center (EAMC) has been caring for our community. The hospital was born out of the desire of a group of citizens who were determined to provide state-of-the-art health care to the people of east Alabama. That desire still drives us today. Our mission remains providing high quality, compassionate health care to everyone, regardless of his or her ability to pay. The mission of the EAMC Foundation is to promote the mission, vision and values of EAMC and secure community financial support for EAMC’s programs.
