Back in 2015, founder Mark Coxwell started with a borrowed smoker and a passion for wood-smoked BBQ. By 2016, he was building his own smoker named Riker and serving up plates at local concerts and events. The buzz grew so quickly that by September 7, 2018, Butcher Paper BBQ opened its doors at 128 Columbus Parkway in Opelika. Today, with the help of their second smoker, LaForge, the team continues to serve up bold, smoky flavors to hungry customers across the Auburn-Opelika area.
