If someone’s house has white carpet—do you take your shoes off, or nah?
You walk into someone’s house… and there it is: that pristine white carpet.
Do you slip your shoes off out of respect?
Or do you keep them on like nothing happened?
Some folks kick off their shoes the second they step inside. Others are like, “If they wanted me barefoot, they should’ve told me.”
Personally, if it’s Auburn orange dirt on my shoes, I’m probably not tracking it in on someone’s bright white flooring. Just saying.
So what’s your move—shoes off or keep ’em on? Drop a comment, share your take, or better yet… make sure your own entryway makes the right impression if you’re planning to sell.
Because here’s the thing: buyers notice details.
And dirty or stained carpet (especially white) can scream “neglect,” even in a beautiful home.
Thinking of listing soon? Let’s talk about what buyers really notice—and how to get your house showing-ready from the moment they walk in.
