National Village – Robert Trent Jones Golf Course
One of my favorite neighborhoods in Opelika, AL is the National VIllage and today I am highlighting one of the amenities, the Robert Trent Jones Golf Course. This golf course boasts 54 holes of championship golf and is built around the 600-acre Saugahatchee Lake, which is boat accessible. The Grand National Golf Course is adjacent to the Robert Trent Jones Trail and has hosted numerous golf tournaments and events. Homeowners of National Village get to play for free on the Short Course and receive discount rates to play on the Links or Lake courses. In addition to great golf courses, residents also enjoy the expansive 300 acres of green spaces, stocked fishing lakes, and miles of wooded nature trails in the community. National Village is truly a resort neighborhood and offers so many fun and exciting things to do.
