National Village’s amenities are like no other. The Auburn-Opelika Marriott Hotel & Conference Center is the community’s clubhouse and central hub of physical activity and social recreation. Not only does it offer 114 guest rooms and 15 suites that overlook the golf course for guests, but it also has a business center, 96-seat amphitheater, event space, heated indoor pool, dry sauna, exercise room, and locker rooms.

Outdoors, residents have 4,200 square feet of recreational space. There are three saltwater pools, a splash pad for kids, a splashpool bar, private cabanas, whirlpools, and fire pits. When not enjoying all of the water activities, homeowners can challenge friends on the tennis or pickleball courts.

But the main attraction in National Village is the 54 holes of championship golf built around the 600-acre Saugahatchee Lake, which is boat accessible. Construction of National Village began in 2006 by Connor Bros. Construction Company and upon completion the community will have 1,400 single-family homes. Residents can choose from a variety of floor plans from three design collections: Stonelake, Eagle Bend, and Quail Ridge. Each collection offers single-story living, low-maintenance exteriors, and energy-efficient materials. Another benefit to living in National Village is that landscape maintenance in common areas as well as for individual homes is included in the homeowners’ association fee.

Buyers can choose from several unique floor plans from the Eagle Bend Collection that are designed with Craftsman-style details and energy-rated materials. These single-family homes offer 1,500 to 1,822 square feet and have two or three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an attached two-car garage. The Quail Ridge Collection has single-family homes that offer 1,708 to 2,286 square feet of living space. Single-family home designs within the Stonelake Collection are the largest in National Village and range in size from 2,600 to 3,700 square feet. They have three bedrooms, three-and-a-half bathrooms, and an attached two-car garage. These detached homes feature high ceilings, custom finishes, spacious layouts, screened porches, decks, and outdoor kitchens.
