Tiger Transit’s mission is to provide safe and reliable transit service to Auburn University students, faculty and staff.
During the fall and spring semesters, Tiger Transit is in operation from 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.* During the summer semester, all lines are in operation from 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Twenty-four lines that travel both on and off campus are available for current Auburn University students to use. While internal lines are available for Auburn University faculty and staff members to use at no cost, those who wish to use Tiger Transit to travel to an off-campus, non-academic destination must purchase a bus pass.
As Tiger Transit is the system for Auburn University and is paid for by student fees, the general public is not allowed to use the system. The Lee-Russell Public Transit is the public transit system for the Lee County, Alabama area. Information regarding the services they provide may also be obtained by calling (334) 749-9092.
In order to identify routes needing to be used, DoubleMap provides easy to recognize color-coordinated routes to help with identifying route information. DoubleMap also provides the TransLoc App, which provides real-time bus location information through their free smartphone app for both Apple and Android devices.
