October’s spooky events
Enjoy an October packed with fun and spooky events.
Fall Sundown Concert Series – Come hear live music at Kiesel Park on Oct. 6 and
20 during the Fall Sundown Concert Series. Concerts will take place from 6-7:30
p.m.
Harvest Market – City Market will return in October with the Harvest Market on
Saturday, Oct. 15, at Town Creek Park. Stop by from 8 a.m.-noon for seasonal
produce, baked goods, meats, flowers and more!
Friday Fright Night Movie – Come out for our annual Friday Fright Night Movie at
Kiesel Park on Friday, Oct. 14. The evening will begin with the kid-friendly Disney
classic “The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad.” This G-rated movie will start
at 6:45 p.m. A movie for adults to enjoy will follow at 8 p.m. with the 2007 thriller
“Dead Silence,” rated R. Patrons are encouraged to bring blankets or chairs, and
concession will be sold.
Haunted Zumbathon – The Haunted Zumbathon will be held Saturday, Oct. 22,
from 8:30-10:30 a.m. at the Frank Brown Recreation Center gym. Come dressed up
for a costume contest and ready to move! Children ages 8 and under are welcome
to participate with a parent.
Downtown Trick or Treat – Auburn Parks and Recreation will wrap up October with
the 2022 Downtown Trick or Treat Monday, Oct. 31, from 6-8 p.m. in Downtown
Auburn. This event is a great alternative to door-to-door trick-or-treating with
Downtown Merchants handing out candy, live music on the corner and the annual
costume contest!
