Santa on the Corner
Dates: December 7-8, 2024
Location: Toomer’s Corner, Auburn, AL
Santa is coming all the way from the North Pole to Toomer’s Corner! Bring your kids for a photo with Santa (don’t forget your camera) and make a donation to the United Way of Lee County. It’s a heartwarming tradition in downtown Auburn, and a great way to support a good cause!
Downtown Auburn Christmas Parade

Get ready for the festive fun of the Downtown Auburn Christmas Parade. This long-standing tradition features floats, marching bands, and all things Christmas! It’s a great way to bring the whole family out and enjoy a parade that’s full of holiday cheer.
Auburn Gingerbread Village Unveiling
Date: December 8, 2024
Location: Tony & Libba Rane Culinary Science Center, Auburn, AL
After the parade, head over to the Tony & Libba Rane Culinary Science Center for the unveiling of East Alabama’s largest Gingerbread Village. Free to the public, this sweet event runs through New Year’s Day, giving you plenty of time to admire these creative, sugary displays.
Christmas in a Railroad Town

Location: Downtown Opelika, AL
Take a stroll through downtown Opelika and enjoy the charm of “Christmas in a Railroad Town.” The night includes a children’s train, pony rides, a petting zoo, wagon rides, late-night shopping, and dining. It’s an enchanting way to experience Opelika’s downtown and all its festive offerings.
Collinwood Luminaries

Drive through the lovely Collinwood neighborhood, lit by candlelight, and enjoy a live nativity scene. It’s a peaceful and beautiful way to get into the Christmas spirit.
Victorian Front Porch Christmas Tour

Location: Opelika, AL
Take a trip back in time with the Victorian Front Porch Christmas Tour in Opelika’s historic district. Over 60 Victorian homes are transformed with colorful Christmas decorations and life-size figures. Enjoy the self-guided driving tour, or join the walking tour for a closer look at these nostalgic holiday displays.
Victorian Front Porch Pub Crawl

Location: Downtown Opelika, AL
For the 21+ crowd, the Victorian Front Porch Pub Crawl is a must! Sip and stroll through the festive neighborhood, visiting local pubs while supporting the Victorian Front Porch Tour. It’s a fun way to enjoy the season and explore downtown Opelika.
Rocky Brook Rocket Reindeer Express

Hop aboard the Rocky Brook Reindeer Express in Opelika for a magical train ride through a sea of Christmas lights. With food, hot chocolate, Santa photos, and a Christmas market, this event will make you feel like a kid again!
