AUBURN, Ala.- Auburn has once again been recognized for its safety and livability on a list of the top 100 safest cities to retire.
Security Choice, a security system consultation company, analyzed 495 cities or major metro areas in the United States to compile the list. They scored cities based on FBI city crime data, census data, average retirement age in the state and state elder abuse protection laws.
